Asuka Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 What an amazing work! :'-) The ship is pretty cool, but the surrounding is just plain marvelous.... the gate Quote
Brickmaster Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 (edited) Egad. Seems like ages since you've posted here :-$ It's a stunning diorama. Lots to look at, the great flowing foliage, the details of the technic beams, and the offset red slopes at the bottom create a great effect. I wish I had such funds to expand my collection to the point of making dioramas such as this. You seem to have a great intrest with japanese culture in your building. No smack from me this time. ;-) "Workin' in the coal mine.." Edited March 15, 2008 by Brickmaster Quote
iamded Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 (edited) X-O That is absolutely stunning! I love the Asian design of the landscape, the water plants, the big wall part, all of it's fantastic! I first stumbled upon your creations when I found your Zombie Survival Guide - Chapter Three: On The Defense MOC in the House of Smack. I always enjoy seeing the amazing...ness of all the creations, and reading the entertaining description that goes along with them. :-D Lookin' forward to your next build! ~Peace Edited March 16, 2008 by iamded Quote
Dragonator Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 That is absolutely stunning! *wub* I love it all! The ship is really great, smooth and sleek, while the rest of the diorama is just fantastic! I love the circular door that opens up to let the walkway extend, and the greenery is really well done, especially the floating weeds. That building is really awesome! Some great architectural ideas in there, and I love the wooden slope (boat ramp? :-P ) Absolutely stunning, how long have you spent working on it? Quote
KeithG Posted March 16, 2008 Author Posted March 16, 2008 (edited) Thanks very much guys. I have been absent here for a while, but I've been slowed down considerably by a new baby. I still lurk though, and lurk often. Eurobricks always has the scoop on new product, as well as MOCs you don't see on other forums. Dragonator: I started this diorama in November and finished it about a week ago. My building time is sporadic so it's hard to say how many hours. I tend to build about 5-10 hours a week depending on how busy it is at work. Since the baby, it's maybe half of that. Thanks again for the comments, they are always appreciated. Cheers, -Keith Edited March 16, 2008 by KeithG Quote
