DNL Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 This is my entry for the battles contest on Classic-Castle: Brickshelf gallery when public FLICKR Quote
Brickmaster Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Egad. The minifigure setup is realistic and smooth, looks like a real raging battle. Great job. Quote
Cardinal Brick Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 A great battle scene, I like they want in which you’ve portrayed the soldiers being pushed back into the water, the upside down one is great. The way you’ve created the archers is more realistic than they’re normal depicted nice work there. The bolt cutting of the skeleton head is a nice touch. Quote
Dragon Warrior Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Well set-up and nice effect with the soldiers that have been forced into the water Quote
ziljin Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 I like your use of the "crossbowman" helmets on the foot soldiers. Or are they supposed to be elite soldiers or captains? Quote
Stiel Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Skeletons around the fire are black = charred, right? Quote
Pizinho Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 Really nice battle scene! I like the ballista too, well done Quote
Hoboman Posted July 9, 2011 Posted July 9, 2011 That is a great MOC DNL. I like how you posed the various minifigs. It feels like a battle. Good Luck with the contest. Quote
Donut Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 (edited) Does everyone realize that this MOC was uploaded in 2008? Good Luck with the contest. The original contest thread can be found here Edited July 10, 2011 by Donut Quote
Hoboman Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Does everyone realize that this MOC was uploaded in 2008? Nope. Until your post made me go back up the line and see that Dragon Warrior necro'd a three year old thread, I thougth it was new. But I have to admit in a way I am glad he did. I had not seen it as I am a newer member and I like the MOC. So I guess I would say Dragon Warrior did some of us newer members a favor by his thread necromancy. Quote
I Scream Clone Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 Lets keep the Necroing to a minimum please, it detracts from peoples newer current creations. DNL is not going to be likely to add a great deal to this conversation as the MOC itself is long ago destroyed. Quote
