First off my apologies if this is not the right place for this thread.

I have a question about parting out some sets. I was looking at what I had and realized I really only like the minifigures or certain accessories that came with the sets. For example I have the T-Rex Tracker set from Jurassic World 2015, but I only ever see myself displaying the T-Rex figure and Hoskins minifigure.

So, I was thinking I could remove the things I like from some sets and then sell the parted out set. What is the proper way to go about doing this? Do I disassemble the sets and just sell as a lot of bulk LEGO? Do I have to divide the pieces up into proper categories for bulk selling? Or just simply list the list- less certain things? If it matters the sets would be modern Star Wars and Jurassic World 2015.

Any advice on this will be appreciated. :classic:

You can sell however you like. If you are just doing a few, stick the remnants on ebay calling them opened but sets without the minifigures. If you are doing a lot of sets, you can sell part by part via bricklink.

Job lots of mixed up parts are not worth much, since nobody knows what is in there and it could just be junk. AT least if you sell sets minus figures, people know what they are getting.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I understand what you're saying about selling sets minus figures. Is this a good forum to sell on? Are there people who buy parted out sets? I want to avoid eBay at all costs. The fees are just to much.
