What do users of Stud.io do to include PF Motors in their drawings? Not in palette, and I cannot figure a way to get them into my work.

I can get them in, but as models not parts, so positioning and adding parts to them is very difficult.

They will be added next update.

It seems you already have .dat file, so it is necessary to place the files into folder with custom part, the path is something like C:\program files\studio\ldraw\custom parts

than restart studio and PF motors should be in folder with custom parts. They will of course not snap automatically, you have to position them yourself. For fine positioning you have to turn off auto snapping and select smallest grid. Then it is fairly easy to get it into correct position.
