Myagooshki Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Hey, I'm trying to build with Lego digital designer. If I have a brick placed down and I want to place another brick in front of it, it tends to go underneath the brick I placed down first. depending on the angle sometimes it goes on top. How do I get rid of this feature? Quote
koalayummies Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 This can be worked around with very fine movements of the mouse, moving the camera or adding a plate or something else underneath or above the brick you want to place another next to for example; add the brick and then delete the plate. Adding something else to make a connection and then deleting that crutch piece is a common workaround. The 'snap-to' feature is one of the things many prefer about LDD but it sometimes requires using these workarounds. For future reference you'll get quick help with LDD questions in the LDD forum. supertruper1988 Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Unfortunately, that is a quirk of LDD. If I have a bunch of stuff to build in that manner, I will place a baseplate down then add all the parts to the "floor" then delete the baseplate. Quote
