Albert Einstein was never born, so the Nuclear Bomb was never created to stop the Japanese. So the U.S. invaded Japan...

This little vig is about US Marines storming a Japanese outpost set up in a geisha house. Most of the Japanese Army has been wiped out. So an elderly Japanese WWI veteran guards the front entrance to the outpost.

Thanks guys! Yes, the arch looked the most "Asian" of all so I decided to use that. But everything else, including the modded musket, is my idea.

Japs didn't wear those helmets you should give him a imperial officer hat, that looks more japaneesy.

Also the japs didn't participate in WWI. So a WWI veteran would be weird. You could say a veteran from the Japan-China War.

Very nice alternative universe, I like it!!! And, btw, the japs did participate in WWI, on the side of the Brits, the French and the Italians.

EDIT: Ohhh, my sigfig is a machine-gunner! *y*

*y* Thanks for the nice comments guys! I don't own a Japanese Officer Hat (I don't know what TLC item would match it)

Very well done *y* , a unique twist to history. I really like the set-up and the realistic look to the scene. So what year would you have set for this scene? I would have to say my educated guess for your scene would be about early-to-mid 1946.

Model On!!

The Japanese did wear pith helmets in WW2, although I believe they were only standard issue for officers.

The German Afrika Korps and the Italian military routinely wore the pith helmet/sun helmet into combat. Although I have seen pictures of British Army cavalry and infantry wearing pith helmets in the early part of the war I am not sure if they were worn in combat in North Africa or the Middle East. I also believe the Royal Dutch Army forces in Indonesia wore the pith helmet as well but I am not sure.

Sweet, Nice Guard.

Why has the US Troop got a M1A1 Thompson with a extra Cartridge?

Actually, that is a forward grip for my M1A1 Thompson.
