Aventador2004 Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 After a long day, i just wanted a fun, relaxing build. no parameters, and just fun. This became a model: As you notice, I labeled functions. Blade (worm gear). Winch (frictioned). Opening cabin. Rolling treads. So after, I contacted @mocbuild101 who if you remember, made the pneumatic excavator instructions. From Wednesday to Sunday he has worked super hard on making a PDF manual to build the model. I am happy to say everything is ready! Rebrickable (Instructions within) All other links in spoiler: Spoiler All in spoiler to save space. LDD LDraw Render 360 Render Finally the pictures. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! Quote

This is going to sound much more negative than it is meant to. I truly don't mean anything nasty by this. You complains seem to be a constant theme in some of your posts. If this really bothers you as much as it seems, perhaps the following advice could help. When you introduce a build by how little time or effort you put into something, and pics, details, etc. seem to really reflect this what really do you expect? I can understand the desire for a fun and light build as much the next guy, but the need then share it and receive a lot of attention from others, when you acknowledge it is not a serious build is something that I do not understand. I think the constant comparison of your builds to others on this forum might be part of it. If so, you may want to keep in mind that usually others spend months of planning, working and reworking, use of actual plans, etc. to create their finished project. It is quite obvious that a lot of work goes into such builds. Again, if you style is more laid-back and just for fun rather than for recognition that is great. IMO that is the whole reason for the hobby. But to take that approach, be open and upfront about it, and then complain the lack of attention others give what you present..... well, I just don't really understand it. Quote
Aventador2004 Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 Great point, Snarkyness does not help me at all. I just ruin it when I let my fingers do the typing. Quote

Yeah, I agree - if there's nothing interesting to comment about, not that many members will bother commenting. That said, it really shouldn't be this quiet, as this is one of your better MOCs... I didn't choose to make the instructions just because I could, I chose to make them because I liked your MOC. BTW, the links to the renders link back to this topic, so I'll just put them here: Spoiler Edited February 26, 2018 by mocbuild101 Quote

I mean, to improve you need a few comments. Thanks, I hoped that's why. Quote
