TZC, afol, started with lego at about 7 yeas old. Left it alone at around 13- but decided to try to mass a collection to make technic mocs at around 26.

That didn't go so well - I bought a lot of large sets old and new (at the time) but many of those new technic connectors were foreign and I didn't know where to start  I did make a basic 6 wheel, 4 wheel steering/4 wheel drive drive tank type 'thing' though.. no pics taken.

It's all been in the loft for 10 years now gathering dust.. when I found some of the amazing creations people have made and shared online. That inspired me to try again and here I am :classic:

I notice my collections age now I've got it down and the kind of parts I would like to use I don't have (eg these new flat panels, sloping and curved parts, and lots of flexible parts) not to mention I still don't know how to use multiple small connectors to build these tight and functional model segments I've seen on youtube

Looks like I have a bit of spending and a LOT of learning to do.. I feel confident to have a go though. And hopefully you nice people might offer a bit of knowledge or guidance along the way in future

Welcome to the forums. I know that feeling when you get back into LEGO. the first set that actually got me back was the super soarer LEGO Creator set. I joined the forums last year, and let me tell you, seeing all those Train MOCs really excites me. You'll love it here.

Thanks for the welcome steamdemon :classic:

I've been browsing since, not sure if there's anywhere here to look for build help so far but just looking at a few topics and mocs I've already learned a thing or two so, thanks all for sharing
