Silvasio Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 At the brink of war the Swintocian government launched Operation Relay. A relay system spanning the whole of the Swintocian border. The men stationed at these outposts would have to be prepared to go weeks on end without any outside assistance, always keeping their beacons online and scanning the surrounding area for intruders. Lets take a closer look at one of these outposts. Looks like we have come at a wrong time. The recent blizzards combined with the constant snap freezes Has caused these cables to snap, if our technician does not fix it soon the whole Swintocian army will come bearing down on his location. As these outposts are made to be held year around these wind breaks are not an uncommon occurrence. These scout vehicles are also of utmost importance to the safety of Swintoc. It appears one of the privates has left the door open. The base has enough room and supplies for ten men to stay up too four months without outside assistance. One of the last sources of entertainment for Swintoc's finest. Quote

The Great Brick War Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 You’ve been awarded (2) points. Judges’ comments… I like the concept of this build, it's something that hasn't really been done before. Build wise you might have considered making the post a little bit smaller to beef up on the detail. It comes off as a bit bigger than it needs to be. Also, pictures could use a little better lighting and environment. Overall, a solid effort. Good idea with the bunker, but shrink it down...focus on the details a bit more than the sheer size of the bunker. It can be done. Terrain is tricky, do the basic, then walk away, come back later and do another level. Then walk away and return one more time to add another level. This way, it will appear much more random. For photos, try to remain consistent with your lighting. Some pics are less yellow than others, that may be because of a flash going off. I always recommend going outside or using full spectrum daylight bulbs. They eliminate that nasty yellow hue. Remember, we are here to become better builders and I think this is a good returning build for you. Feel free to use other people's techniques. Trying them here is a great way to practice! Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! Quote
