I know using them for a roof is not a new idea, but our town needed a bus stop and I have a bunch of these. Photos are from a layout we are doing this weekend at the Trains Trains Trains show.

Most things have been done before by someone one way or another. It is how you bring it together as a whole that makes it different. 

In this case, it works really well as a busstop for your city. ☺

Finally, a use for the 277 separators in my collection...

TLG need to run a program through which these can be returned in return for reward.  A silly waste of oil-based resources.

With that many you'll need a lot of bus stops, so double them up and make a train station roof instead ...

Brick separators have very little clutch, for obvious reasons, so the way those are doubled up in the train platform means they can get bumped off. Not as bad as if there were just a single row. That’s why mine are connected to regular bricks in my bus stop.
