The automatons need some time before we can hand them over. Anything done now will potentially lead to a dangerous situation. You said so yourself, these automatons are a risk to the city, and we must be careful about how we go about this. If they view anyone entering the facility as a threat, they will attack, and that is the last thing either of us want. You can have the automatons today, but can you come back later? I’ll tell my colleagues to wrap things up and hurry up with your request.” Karie spoke diplomatically to the Mountain. Lind Whisperer Posted April 14, 2018 Posted April 14, 2018 (edited) On 4/13/2018 at 12:02 AM, Waterbrick Down said: "Give me 5 minutes heroes and we'll be ready!" "On it!" Lind attacks the Mountain from the front row with the Shadeaux Mace. If he rolls a DAMAGE roll, and if Karie has Hastened the party, he repeats. If Monk Pretzel has succeeded in Stunning the Mountain, (and Lind is Hastened), Lind attacks from the front row with Gladius. If Monk Pretzel has failed in in Stunning the Mountain, (and Lind is Hastened), Lind then attacks from the back row with Starbreaker. OoC: Kinto, could you put me early in the battle order? Barring a bad role, I'll instantly make him Fragile, maximizing everyone else's damage(I think that's how the effect would apply? I could be mistaken.). Edited April 17, 2018 by Lind Whisperer Quote

Duvors Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 "You know, if we are hastened, Pretzel could probably afford to attack with the Tyrant's Maul and the Splinter Broom, both of which could apply negative effects to our enemy. Namely, Hexed and Stunned. On that note, Skrall, while the Unlucky Crossbow and the Giant Hammer are hardly superior to that sword of yours they both deal effects (Jinxed and Confused respectively) that our foe is not immune to. Karie, if that Rapid March gives you an extra action you may want to consider attacking him with the Demon's Fiddle as well." Given an extra action, Throlar will heal whoever has lost the most health, if no-one has lost any, he will instead cast the Scroll of Minimizing on the enemy. Quote

"The more Luck we have on our side the better. Don't worry, we'll bring him down soon enough. No hard feelings, my large friend, we're on a bit of time crunch, that's all."Skrall shoots at the Walking Mountain from the back row twice, if his first shot hits he switches to the Giant Hammer. Karie drums up the rapid march as her companions move at double time. Pretzel faces the Walking Mountian head on, but is knocked clear off his feat with a single back handed swing of the Founder's club. The artisan crashes unconscious into a nearby wall. Lind quickly ducks for cover as Vindsval crosses blades with the Barbarian Chieftain scoring a solid hit to the warrior's shoulder. The Walking Mountain stumbles backwords and consumes a Mead, Nostrum, and Mulled Wine as Kiray prepares to take the brunt of his assault. Throlar attempts a spell, but the words come out jumbled and disorderly, he finally gets it right and minimizes the Founder to the same height as everyone else. Duvors Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 (edited) "Well damn. Okay, one of you lot needs to revive Pretzel, without the Aurora Nornalis there's no guarantee he'll be alright if we don't. And all of you, switch to weapons that don't cause negative effects, we need to minimize the threat our foe poses for as long as possible." Throlar drinks his Grand Tonic from the back row. If Pretzel is revived and Throlar is hastened, he will heal Pretzel through the Shredding Star, if not, he will remove the Infernal Armor and equip the Greaves of the Wolf. In any case, he will exchange his Weathered Shield for his Shield of Invisibility. (WBD, You've used 'Aim' were you should've said 'Meditate'. Additionally, Throlar's stats don't have all of the scrolls Pretzel lent him listed and have a number of gems that pretzel didn't lend him instead.) Edited April 19, 2018 by Lord Duvors Quote
