Hello everyone! :classic:

I am a student at Copenhagen Business School, and I am currently writing a paper in my masters degree in Brand and communication management. My paper is regarding LEGO's brand identity and how it is perceived from the consumers and the communities. Therefore I am turning too you, and i would like to answer two question if you would, please.

1. How do you perceive other LEGO users? Are they people of good social standing? Are they innovative people?

2. What do you get though your consumption of LEGO? Do you feel creative? Do you feel young?

Thank you very much in advance!

1; Having just recently come out of my dark age, less than 2 years ago, I was totally overwhelmed by how hugely popular Lego has become. I think because of that popularity, Lego users cover not only all social /economic niches but also aren't necessarily innovative or overly imaginative. Just a lot of people playing with a great toy and are of all ages. The whole collecting /investing thing is something totally different though.

2; I personally use Lego as part of ongoing therapy, so it doesn't necessarily make me feel young or innovative, I am actually quite old, just steers me away from rather destructive behavior.

One other thing I have found also is that whenever I discuss Lego with other people. Inevitably the first words out of their mouths is "It's a great toy but it's so expensive"

Now go buy some Lego and build also Welcome to the forums.
