HenrikLego Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 Are there anyone who has created a TIE Fighter at about the same scale as the UCS Millennium Falcon? If my calculations are correct the UCS Millennium Falcon is about 1:40 scale, while the 75101 First Order TIE is 1:31,5. The UCS TIE (75095) is about 1:20. So the TIE Moc should then be about 15,75 cm long (back to front on wing) to be 1:40 in scale. I am asking because I am going to build a layout with TIE Fighters together with the UCS Millennium Falcon, and if anyone has done this before it would be great to get some inspiration before I start. Kit Bricksto Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I think there are several TIEs close to that scale but the first one that came to my mind was this one by my buddy Inthert: He even has these free instructions on his Flickr and I'm sure he'd let you use the design in your diorama. Just make sure to give him credit where it's due. ;) I hope this helps and keep us posted on your project. It sounds interesting! :) Quote
Jerac Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 This question is way easier to answer than you expect: any design which is minifig-scale fits. This is because SW movies are quite inconsistent in scaling of TIEs, mostly because there were multiple models built for different scenes. Just pick whatever one warms your heart most and you will be good to go! Quote
