Location: Charlatan Bay

Type: Large Factory

He air hung heavy with the screams of horses and the scent of blood as Charlatan Bay's most industrial factory worked hard to create a vital product.

Horses were brought in on small boats to the edge of Charlatan Bay, where the factory worked hard to process them.

The WTC Riff Raft brought in two an hour on a good day.

Completed Sausages were smoked in a small smokehouse built on the remains of the captains cabin.

But Unfortunately, the Horses had to be sheared and dehoofed before they could be made into sausages, which was the bottleneck of the operation.

But, once they were liberated, they could be ground down into sausages. It usually took a bit of prompting to force them into the grinder, but giving them a stiff drink beforehand usually weakened their resolve.

And so, box after box of horsausage was made, smoked and shipped off into the colonies.

FIN

Hope you liked this build everyone. The factory is supposed to be built on a wrecked ship, next to an equally wrecked building, I'm just not sure how clear that is in the pictures. I really had fun with this one, and with all my Charlatan Bay builds in general. It was nice to have a change of atmosphere with my builds. I'll probably license the WTC Riff Raft in the future as a class 0, but I'm usually pretty lazy about doing so. C&C appreciated! Let me know if I should upload better photos as well, It's midnight here, and the light ain't to good.

I really like the concept and idea behind this, and the build itself does not disappoint. I might be biased because I actually love horse meat and everthing done with it (apart from living horses - meh), but I can not stop grinning watching this. Well done!

[IC] Now get those horse sausages to Mesabi Landing, there is a serious horse meat crisis going on! [/IC]

P.S.: If you find the time, a wideshot of the whole build would be appreciated.

Classic WTC - and good to see the long running horse meat gag make another appearance! Although I'm not too sure a horse, even one fortified with hard liquor,  would ever walk willingly into a meat grinder.....

You'll go broke trying to get horses drunk to weaken their resolve.  Givens their body size and weight, it could take a barrel or two each.  :pir_laugh2:

A bit more lighting may help your cellphone camera.

Poor horses! It's a shame to treat them like this. Some of our cavalry officers are very concerned about the tragic fate of these noble animals.:laugh:

Thanks! Trying Horse meat is on my bucket list, but the closest place it's legal is Quebec. Stupid FDA...

The WTC's Calvary are not only trained in combat, but also in the culinary arts so they can dismember their mounts and feed them to the rest of the troops when occasion calls.

Two letters: E-W, short for ewwwwwww, as in gross and all those repulsive feelings one can get from eating horses

You barbaric Corries! Our Chevaliers would have never committed such atrocities on such a proud and majestic animal! Boooooo!!! Oh, well, at least there will be a shortage on military grade horses in Corrington.
