This is a minifig-scale version of a Grand Piano, I made it as an interior piece for my city. It fills almost the entire second floor of this building, the one in the center of the picture, and is just visible through the windows.

Although I said 'minifig-scale' earlier on, those keys are huge.... :-D

That is a great minifig scale piano *wub*

I just don't like the yelow wheels, I think it would look better without them, or in another color (white, grey...)

Good work *y*

Hi!

Nice job!

The wheels are indeed realistic (the real thing in my living room has in fact brass wheels).

The only thing that's missing are the pedals, but that's OK with respect to the scale.

Well they would actually be in scale for a carillon ;)

Are you kidding? These wheels are the cherry on top of the ice cream.

True, pedals are missing. You could build some, though. Maybe old hinge plates could do the trick?

Thanks for all the nice comments!

And thanks to Hinckley for indexing my efforts.

That really made me laugh :-D , thanks

I tried to make some decent pedals for this instrument, but because of the small scale and little space between the underside of the piano and the floor it did not work out very well and looked quite bulky. So I decided to skip them....

Besides, when a minifig is sitting behind this piano he/she won't be able to reach any pedals in the first place. X-D

...well, given the lack of dexterity in minifig fingers (or lack of fingers!), large keys could indeed be an advantage ;-) ! Well done.
