Today is VR's realm. As I experienced in VR CAD in many fields of engineering, I think VR is the new future for Lego Digital Designer. So I open this topic to discuss about this theme :D Tell us what you think about the combination of VR and Lego :D

VR may be fun, but I am not convinced you can work efficiently in it (yet). In fact, I still use MLCAD, mainly, since I think the editors that use perspective vs. orthographic projection are too slow. (I do use perspective projection for quick previews however.)

Building with Lego in VR is probably not going to work very well, if at all. The precision is just too high but most importantly there's just very little added value.
Experiencing Lego in VR on the other hand might be pretty cool. Imagine building a big castle and then 'walking' through it as if you're a minifigure. That would be pretty cool. Although, it would also be pretty cool without the VR too.

You know that you can set up LDCad in pretty much the same way as MLcad?

Sort of possible already in 2D. ;)

LDCad gets wonky with very large models, like Datsville, so I can't use it.
