Darnok Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 The point of this thread is to provide "building instructions" for the gunboat models found in this thread. I use the quotation marks, because all I can give you is a series of pictures showing the building steps with the parts used for the next step. If you are in any way familiar with Lego parts, you should have no problems to follow. If you have any questions: please just ask. Again, to be clear: each picture shows a step in the building process and all part needed for the next step. Step 1 (please note: you need two 2x2 plates, I could not get them seperated for the shot...) Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Step 7 Step 8 And that is it. All the colours can be different of course, you can easily adapt this design to whatever colour scheme you want to use. If you want to use the oars in "rowing position", simply use different 1x1 plates, as seen below: Quote
Capt Wolf Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Thanks for sharing the construction process. I love seeing how these smaller brick-built boats are put together. Quote
blackdeathgr Posted December 8, 2017 Posted December 8, 2017 Now that's a proper and lovely gunboat! I especially like the populated version of it. Thanks for sharing as MOC instructions are always fun to watch! Quote
SilentWolf Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I always enjoy learning how to do things I haven't figured out yet, so this tutorial was much appreciated. I appreciate that you take time to do this every so often. Quote
Ayrlego Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Great step by step instructions - a valuable resource! Thanks for sharing. Quote
Bregir Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Interesting to see a breakdown of your technique. Vessels on this scale have some challenges in shaping, so it is helpful to see how others approach it. Quote
LM71Blackbird Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 This is really simple, but really cool and well thought out! Thanks for sharing it! Quote
