LegoLyons Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 This is a first attempt at a vignette, So I tried to keep it simple and use just a couple of main colours. The story is simple too, a pikey robber has nicked a ancient jewel from the palace, he thinks he is clear, until he see's the ninja - "Jin Un Tonic" on his trail! Batbrick Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Very nice work Lego Lyons! As others have stated the foliage looks great, especially the red parts giving it a nice bit of colour. The palm tree works surprisingly well, its often hard to get that to work, but you succeeded. The action itself is simple and exciting, I like the way you've positioned the robber so that he is looking at the ninja. Great work overall! Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Cardinal Brick Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 It#s a great vig for your first try. The use of red to bread up the green of the background foliage is well executed even the trans light in my opniion. Also it's nice to see a ninja vig you don't see to many of them. Quote
