I was just thinking, if we're getting a comics-based Spiderman set on December 1st, there's a good chance we'll be getting at least 2 more Marvel comics sets as part of that same wave. Personally, I think we should get a vehicle or building that played a big part in Marvel Superheroes 2, like Kang's Time Ship or the Hydra Blimp, or even a Wakanda playset.

The spider mech set could be Lego trying to cash in on the Venom Movie.

Maybe it has something to do with Venom and Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse both coming out around the same time, since the set features major characters from both movies. Maybe this whole wave is based around Spiderman (or in this case, Spidermen), since there are still plenty of variations of Spiderman for Lego to use (Spider-Ham, Spiderman Noir, Spiderman 2099, Miles Morales). It would also leave the door open for tons of different vehicles, and maybe some villains we haven't gotten in minifig form yet.

It's not a direct tie-in I can tell you that. But I think that's the purpose on releasing this comic based sets.

Now with regards to the possilibility of other sets being released. I think it will still contain characters from this movies (Into the Spider-verse)/(Venom) though, like what I've said not direct tie-in but it is somehow related stuff.

I think it would be better if Lego would maybe have one more Spiderman set, plus a different comics based set that doesn't have a Spiderman theme. We are getting Spiderman: Far from Home next summer, and a wave of sets for that are pretty much a sure thing, plus Captain Marvel and Avengers 4 are also coming out, so pretty much all Marvel sets for next year are going to be MCU based (maybe not winter 2019, but still), so that leaves the creativity for next years sets kind of limited.

Tbh spider man homecoming sets were horrible in my opinion however I do believe in a fair chance of comic based set for not just Spider-Man but avengers I’m sick of movie based sets I think that the movie costumes are boring not unique and ugly but I really like comic based sets so LEGO please

Did anyone else see that Emma Fuhrmann minifig leak? Shes supposed to be playing Cassie Lang in Avengers 4. The supposed leak has been going around Instagram, but it looks fake, but I can't tell due to the giant watermark. It looks like her legs are that new short leg piece that they just introduced in the Harry Potter CMF, except pink and theres some sort of print on it. Shes wearing yellow dress with a fabric skirt. Can anyone confirm if its real, or did I just invest waaaaaay too much time into typing this?

• It's an outdoor picture, which would be fine for a leaked figure, but it's also got a Lego "confidential" watermark plastered over it, which tries to suggest it's official. And if that's the case, the weird environment doesn't make sense.
• The watermark is labeled "2017"; I bet the faker took the watermark from a real leak last year.
• I don't know how you could possibly identify it as Emma Fuhrmann from that. She's not a famous actress and she doesn't have any notable facial characteristics, and this is just a generic female minifigure.  Only if you were trying to start rumors would you "know" who it was.
• The print looks pretty bad. It also goes all the way to the edges of the torso, which real prints don't really do.

Guys Disney just purchased Fox, which means that they get the rights to the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to be in the MCU. Do you think we could seem some of those characters appear in future sets? Because I thought there was some big thing going on with Fox that they didn't even want the X-Men to appear in Marvel Superheroes 2.

In due time yes. But with the last non mighty micro X-men set being the worst selling marvel set of 2014 they might wait for something for the sets (ie a movie to tie in the sets) to help with sales

Well all they need to do is make a comics-based set with an updated Deadpool and it would probably sell like hotcakes. I can see why they wouldn't do it right now, seeing as Deadpool 2 is coming out on Blu-Ray in a couple weeks, and how some parents probably won't notice that its an R rated movie. Maybe sometime in the next couple of years, since Dark Phoenix and New Mutants are the last 2 Fox X-Men movies. Maybe even sooner, since theres that rumor going around that Fox is going to cancel both of these movies due to extensive reshoots and stuff.

”Thanks for getting in touch with us.

I’m sorry, but we aren’t making the minifigure set you are looking for anymore. It was a ToysRUs exclusive so other retailers would not be able to carry it.

I hope one of our many new LEGO toys will inspire you. To take a look through the hundreds of toys we offer, go to shop.LEGO.com and see what catches your eye.

You may be able to still find some older sets through different retailers or online shops. Keep in mind that these aren’t our websites so the LEGO Group isn’t responsible for their content, and the items they’re selling could be new or used.

We appreciate your comments, so I'll be passing your interest in Marvel minifigures on to the design team. You never know, some of the old treasures might make a comeback!

I don’t think there should be a lot of worry about the bricktober stuff yet. Lego isn’t going to come out now and there exact plans for it yet. Odds are for the US we might have to pay extra to get the packs from eBay

As long as they’re still released in Toys R Us somewhere in the world, it’ll be fine. If they aren’t even released in TRU Canada, EU, etc, then that’s a problem.

See Kevin fiegie said the deal should official be closed in early- mid 2018 and he said he has plans in his head for x-men, so I can now totally see LEGO going oh this I cool X-men sets to push out late 2019 like this years Spider-Man sets, sure some ppl may not like it but if we go back to comic get an awesome jean grey, beast, storm, Wolverine, angel, Charles X, cyclops, rouge, night crawler and villains like juggernaut, cable, magneto, sabertooth, yeah I think ppl would love it and it all can be spread out through multiple sets kinda like a spider man wave

That sounds like a stock response to me. Also the "we aren't making it anymore" phrasing suggests to me that the person writing the message thought the set was one of the old packs. Personally I would not worry yet.

If it is true that they aren't producing them anymore then they'll probably just release the figs in Avengers 4 sets or something. Or maybe they are just playing word games and they're releasing a version without the big Toys R Us logo on it.

On Instagram we got yet another leak about the bricktober pack and apparently if you spend a certain amount in October then that’s now obtain it. There really isn’t any more information than that to be honest.

I know the person who gave this information, and I'm happy about it. It will be free when you purchase a certain amount for Lego shop. I hope it would be $25-30 but knowing LEGO schemes. Let's just hope for the best.
