So, here's the first MOC I finished since joining this site (albeit turning out looking pretty weird)

I wanted to make a car that actually looked like a real car, with the right proportions and curves and all, but after about an hour, it just started to look the opposite of what I wanted it to look like, and this is the end product.

Off-color parts are not intentional, just the things that I either don't have, can't find, or just too lazy to dig out...

Because my standards are high.

Happy enough? no? here goes...

-proportions way off

-couldn't fit in side windows

-proportions way off

-rear windshield not far enough back

-proportions way off

-front windshield not far enough back

-proportions way off

-both windshields too close together

-proportions way off

-might not be obvious, but it's very fragile, if I run around carrying it in a box it'd break

-proportions way off

-I don't like yellow

-proportions way off

-proportions way off

I like it! *y*

It looks quite cool, like something special, hmm.... perhaps the offspring of a Hummer and a Lotus.

Or just a lemonish Tumbler for some kind of Bat Canaryman. Pretty cool indeed. :-)

dun need to feel embarrased around here. Its all good guys (and gals) in EuroBricks.

About your car, well.. building a Good Lego set takes time and experience.. like me, when i started, i can't build nuts! I only can build buildings now and I have absolutely no skills in building a simple minifig-scaled car of my own. So, its not a bad set.. just that Lego has a few limitations when it comes to details depending on its scale. So some of it just need to be left out.

So keep building, and one day, you will build a set that "wow" yourself! :'-)
