Spud The Viking Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Map Name: StudicaGrid: F4 With the New Brickika forces repulsed by the RoN their forces went underground, quite literally. Spud's detachment had been notified of earlier attacks by the RoN, so they prepared themselves. A squad of RoN forces entered the subway station and slowly walked down the escalators... The fighting broke out and Spud's group had the advantage of the tight corner of the platform which created a bottleneck for the RoN soldiers... Not before long, Spud's squad had wiped out any enemies, though two of their own had fallen in the firefight... Small victories such as these is what will win this war against the RoN. Just then, more troops could be heard making their way down the escalator. Spud and his men can only last for so long in that dark and draughty subway. The Great Brick War Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 You’ve been awarded (6) points. Judges’ comments… You have some nice little intricacies in here like the escalator and the leveling down to the tracks. To me this looks a little bit bland though. I am unsure if it just the choice in color or the train car, it just seems to be a little boring. The photo editing here is a little choppy, I'd suggest using a neutral backdrop in the future if possible. Unsure of how this ties in with your team's other builds as no sign of collaboration seems obvious here. Though you did ask prior permission for an extension due to real circumstances, you were late on that extended deadline and were docked a point for it. That’s a nice subway station you’ve got there. I like the details along the escalators, but I feel that the rest of the build is lacking a bit. Yes, the train is nice, but you could have added some more details to the platform, such as maintenance doors, benches, newsstand, etc. Small things like that can help a build come alive. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! Quote
