Building a Modern Army

I was wondering, What would you need in a army?

In any army there mostly the same. But Im making a sort of WW2 style army or Nowheredays army.

They will Upgrade to Space army over time

But what ranks and I need and custom weapon tips please? What armoury should I have?

If you can just drop in your opinion and suggestions, it would be great!

I can think of some essential things every army needs:

Tank

Jeep

Supply truck

Helicopter

IFV or APC

Flak cannon

Some naval things(Gunboat,submarine,maybe a frigate)

Outpost

Artillery gun

I already got the Indiana Jones things and I made a Black tank.

My army is called the NA= Nationalist Army. Couldnt think up anything better XD

Well Englighten Brick (Clone company) have some pretty Good tanks and Army stuff:

Enligthen is pretty weird! There is an Iron Cross on the tank but one of the soldiers has a Red Star on the helmet. German communists? *wacko*

Ill mabye add Grey Plates on top of the Base or something...

Is the Lego Dark green dark enough for that colour?

EDIT: Also the tank has already alot of lego like pieces, the Glass, flaps at the back and side flaps. Wouldnt take to much work. I may buy 5 Of these tanks. That would be awesome

Well, there needs to be infantry of course! The Dino Attack or Dino 2010 and some Rock Raider torsos look good as modern infantry. The Indiana Jones sets for summer 2008 have some green soldiers that look WWII-ish. As for vehicles I have a tank, APC, and Jeep for my soldiers. Brickmania.com has free instructions on how to build a German WWII tank that looks really good. I hope this helps.
