Johannsued Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 (edited) RoN attack on carrefour operation 2 After the distress call of the balafihan embassy, a team of marines was sent during "ripsaw" to secure the embassy but before they arrived, a small group of resistance fighters named "wolverines"broke trough the enemies and helped the Embassador and his team to defend the embassy until the marine arrived. Tezclatipoca Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 A nice action beginning. The overview build makes us see the Ambassy building I would wish to see as background of the fight scene. You also should have made more variation on the grassy fields around the Ambassy (perhaps a crater of a mortar shot...) it would have made it more realistic. Thats a nice job and the action is great, served by a good minifig posing. good job ! Quote
paintballman Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Pros: the Radio Sat Comm (probably is the same design as @Faladrin - nice common detail), the use in the story of resistance fighters (who like some poor firemen refused to abadoned the city and stay to fight), the gate and the gatehouse Cons: not many details on the ground Hightlight: the Shark!!! Is it a statue? What's the story behind that? Suggestion: I would like to see more details on the fighters around the grenade launcer Quote
The Great Brick War Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 You’ve been awarded (7) points. Judges’ comments… Nicely done and cool touch with the story. My issue with the build is lack of finishing details. Behind the walls you just have open grean ground with nothing going on. Even if grass was your point, you could do sidewalks or something. Also, the shark....whats up with that? Very orginal story. More details please and please just span that bed sheet.... A decent build that ties in well with some of the other stories. I’d suggest trying to add some more details to the overall build, such as more custom plants and additional details. Even a well manicured lawn doesn’t have to be perfect or could have some paths. For your presentation, I’d try to make the sheet tighter to avoid wrinkles and folds. It just look more professional that way. Be Sure to Update Your AARs. Thanks for playing! Quote
