The robots' comments in part 1 were strange in retrospect.

I intended their reactions to be to not seeing Schwartz and Galanos for a week.

DUN DUN DUN DUUUUUUUHHHHH!!!!!!!!! You make me want to skip 2012 stuff to buy old space sets. Nice work!

They are very awesome, is perhaps less complex than modern sets. But that's part of their beauty. :)

Well, the Y2K bug + Nostradamus-world-ends-after-1999 thing was a fizzer and many people made lots of money over that... it's no different. And the Mayans probably wouldn't be expecting the end of the world, just that the calendar runs out, to go back to the start... no different to us going back to January 1 EVERY YEAR.

I see a big facepalm coming....

I did think about using a facepalm shot, lol.

Hey KDog, sorry I haven't been following for quite sometime, y'know rough patches in life and all that. I am very much looking forward to getting back into my favourite webcomic though, and hopefully a much more consistent Eurobricks visit schedule. I reckon I'll read from the beginning again to refresh myself, and because I love it naturally.

Also, congratulations on the Tv Tropes page!

EDIT: Halfway through the Christmas Calender so far, and Verwaand's being the universe's chew toy will never not be funny.

EDIT 2: I can't believe I never caught onto the Legion of Doom references with Valkyrie's home.

EDIT 3: As a relatively recent (last 2 years) Doctor Who fan who leapt right in, I'm loving all the references.

EdIT 4: Meteor Madness totally tastes like Purple. Or Snosberries.

EDIT Fnarg: Now that I've seen and loved Goodfellas (love me some tracking shots) I can now see the homage.

EDIT 6: Date Night Part 6 is still one of my favourites. A fantastic sense of foreboding, foreshadowing while still being true to the characters and comedic.

EDIT: Heh, I use the "Screwed with a capital F" line in daily conversation now.

EDIT AGAIN: Yay Red is getting screentime!

EDIT NEARLY DONE: Okay, THAT is the best take on the Mayan conspiracy I've ever heard.

Batbrick Is Back (Hopefully to Stay)!

Shwartz really is the master at managing to keep the things he likes. I wonder if we'll ever find out the exact details of how he managed to get his ship.

Batbrick Away!

It's awesome to have you back, Batbrick. I hope things are okay in your world. I greatly missed your always insightful comments!

In the outline I have of the comic's overall story, there's a story titled (provisionally) "How Schwartz Got the Gamma-V." So, I think that answers your question. :-) The audiobook I did awhile back touched on the topic, but I called his ship the UV-9 in that story because I wanted to remove any actual LEGO names.
