I have to admit, I´m with Galanos there. I prefer 80s pop over rock.

But I don´t know any ballads of Huey Lewis, to be honest...

He has some. He's more of a pop rock guy, to be honest, but I didn't think that sounded as funny.

It would be nice to have the entire DACTA set, with all the cards and such, but I'll have to look into how rare the parts are. The only problem is that the instructions don't seem to be available anywhere I look. You don't know how much I've drooled over this set, and I'm not sure why it's so appealing. But I have a great idea for it in terms of a comic storyline if I ever obtain it.

Yeah, the female hairpiece is from Agent Trace from the Agents line. I've been waiting so long for a female ponytail with bangs at the front; it looks much more feminine than the old ponytail with a pulled back front. I didn't actually buy any Agents sets, though, just a couple Agent Traces off Bricklink. Couldn't wait to use the hairpiece in the comic and thought "Mary" from Springsteen's songs was a good use. :)

Even though there are 8 parts, Part 7 might as well be the end. Part 8 is more of a short epilogue.

OK, guys - someone has to say it.

There are no instructions (that I've found, anyway)... just the cards.

Interesting...... So, do the cards have instructions, or are you just expected to go off the picture?

Sorry I haven't been commenting recently. The whole Gods of Rock storyline was great, looking forward to the next one. Good job on Trace's hair too!

Oh, and good luck on getting that DACTA set, I sadly do not have any money I can spare (I mean it, I'm barely getting by) but I do hope you can, and I think it is worth going for anyway, it seems like the sort of thing you won't regret doing in the future should you buy it.

The final part of "The Gods of Rock" just went up:

http://drunkduck.com/Lego_Space/index.php?p=425616

It's the shortest comic I've ever done, but it won't be a habit. I just felt the pacing of the story worked better if I made this its own comic instead of tacking it on to the last one. A new story begins with a longer comic on Sunday!

And I shot an impromptu story tonight at my cousin's house using a set he has and I WISH I had, and it'll blow your socks off. But you won't see it for a few weeks yet. :-)

Ha, I like the short ending, great to see Huey show up again, totally came out the left corner for me, as I was expecting it to be a dream. Looking forward to future strips, especially the one with the mystery set, do you plan on getting it one day?

I really do want the mystery set I'm talking about, but it's going for between about $70 and $100 on eBay and Bricklink, and that's not in the budget right now.

My cousins still live at home, with my one cousin residing for now with his wife and kid in the apartment attached to my uncle and aunt's house. My uncle and aunt never threw away any of their kids' old toys, unlike my parents. There are closets still filled with He-Man, Transformers, and G.I. Joe figures, and of course Lego. It's a wonderland! They have a few sets that make me jealous. Especially the Futuron Monorail! But my one cousin already offered that we could build the Monorail and feature it in a comic, and I already have an idea for it, so that's likely to happen. BTW, the mystery set I'm talking about is not the Monorail. The funny thing is there was one small but prominent part that we just couldn't find and I used a different colored replacement, so I'm waiting to see if anyone notices, lol.

That is by far, the absolutely strangest thing to date in your comics.

That's saying a lot, considering I've done a lot of strange things in the comics. All I can say is Scouse's island adventure will make sense in the end.
