KotZ Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Elise,Oleon granted me permission to purchase a large plot of land in Fatu Hiva to build a factory. We're expanding our rum business further, out amongst the white sands of Fatu Hiva. Yes, I know, sugarcane isn't growing there and we'll need to import it, but the land was purchased at a good price. This should bring in increased revenue for us. Hopefully Terraversa will have a good amount of cane for us to begin importing.Emile This is my first microbuild, and I think it turned out somewhat decent. I really tried to keep to the lore established for Fatu Hiva, but Emile has to continue to expand his alcohol business. Quote
Spud The Viking Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Simple yet effective! I like the colour choice in the buildings. Quote
Darnok Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Looking good, if only a bit... small? Seriously, a nice micro-build. I'd like to know how these are handled for licensing purposes though? Quote
Capt Wolf Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 It is a nice microbuild. I like the trees and the surf at the beach. Typically, however, microbuilds need pre-approval for licensing. They usually occur as a prize from a challenge. However, there have been exceptions. @Bregir, do you want to weigh in on this? It does have the required footprint for a "small" factory license. Quote
Elostirion Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 And it does look pretty damn good - great work here! Quote
Bregir Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Looking great, KotZ - great use of bricks for this scale! @Capt Wolf: I believe this is one of the ch 5 microbuild prizes, but even if it isn't I think it is sufficient footprint and effort for a small license. Quote

Ah, I didn't realize we had any of the challenge V build prizes still pending. Very good, then! Quote
Kolonialbeamter Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Awesome build, KotZ - Elise and Emile will make a fortune delivering rum to all the thirsty throats of the South Prio Sea and beyond! I also love how you integrated the white beaches of the Île d'Or Now, go strike a favorable sugar cane deal with the Terraversians! 2 hours ago, Capt Wolf said: I didn't realize we had any of the challenge V build prizes still pending. Well... yes, we do. Oleander bureaucrazy at work here! Quote

I based the colors off of Phred's forts, but all the small dark red looked weird, so I made it just the roofs, which kept the consistency of the town. 4 hours ago, Drunknok said: Looking good, if only a bit... small? I've always been amazed at microscale mocs, but never tried one myself, so this means alot. 39 minutes ago, Kolonialbeamter said: Awesome build, KotZ - Elise and Emile will make a fortune delivering rum to all the thirsty throats of the South Prio Sea and beyond! Oleon will have the greatest spirits enterprise in the known world, even beyond! Emile and Elise dream of King Philip and Qeen Beatrice drinking some of their rum. And if not rum, well then Emile and Elise will expand into other drinks. Quote
