RebelliousRebel Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 Does anyone else want a theme based on the Legoland locations and related areas?(not based on Lego's first theme) Quote
Lyichir Posted October 11, 2017 Posted October 11, 2017 A Legoland-based set might work. An entire theme? Not so sure about that, considering that a visit to Legoland is far from a universal experience. Even among Lego fans, many may never get a chance to visit any of the parks. As such, a theme like that would have a very regional appeal. Quote
Cwetqo Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 TLG could mark some sets (carousel, ferris wheel ...) as LEGOLAND, but (there+s always "but"): LEGOLAND trademark is owned by Merlin Entertainment, so TLG would probably need to pay some licensing fees or be at least in some ways dependant on their aproval, when designing those sets. RebelliousRebel Posted October 17, 2017 Author Posted October 17, 2017 Hey, maybe theyll eventually make disney parks or universal studios sets (im pretty sure they could if they wanted to) and then i'll be able to make the ultimate jokerland. Quote
Legochaek Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 There is a Legoland Parks theme; I have a little train that I got from Windsor, but haven't seen any others. Have you guys? Quote
tomfyhr Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Look at the LEGOLAND (game). There are many models that can be made into official sets and form a LEGOLAND-theme. Quote
