Lord Of Pies Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 As you may know, Blacktron I is one of my favourite themes, but unfortunately the theme did not have a particularly long lifespan and only a small number of sets were made. Anyway, so I made a few MOCS to fill the ranks of my Blacktron army. First up: A small robot, based on this little beauty: Except my version is a little more evil! He's a bit of a hunch-back!! the eyes are evil! Next up, a small robot, designated the grab-o-tronic, due to its single long arm: It has eyes at the back of its head too: And finally, the main model, a large 4 wheeled robot, which is yet to be named. (I can't think of a decent name!) The arms are fully posable, the torso and head can both swivel as well. He is not the happiest of chaps: Are you feeling lucky, punk? :-P Attempting to salute: Its secret weakness is it is unable to scratch its own back! And a shot from the side: The whole happy family! And yes, I know in most of the photos the lighting looks blue, I took these photos in the morning, and the natural light made it all blue! :'-( Anyway, comments and (constructive :-P ) criticism welcome and thanks for looking! Batbrick Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Great robots here Lord of Pies, I love the last one in particular, the arm design is very clever, and he just looks great overall. Scary too, I like the Rock-Raider wheels on him too. The floating guy is really cute, I love him! Love love love love love love love love him *wub* Just because he's so cute, I like the way you attached the arm too. The first guy (I'm going backwards *wacko* ) is a nice classic robot with an ugly mug that only a mother could love, but he's cute side on and I like the puny arms and wheels. Overall you've done a great job making these robots, especially Major Tin, well done! Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote
