Hello and welcome to Eurobricks! That disc thing looks to me like something from Bionicle. This said, I'm not an expert for that theme. But the 21109 Exo Suit has these discs as well (at the thighs).

I think Bricklink might be a more direct way for that piece than trying to get the Exo Suit. Retired sets often cost a lot more than their retail price was. Its a great little set though.
