Hi there! I'm new here, but an old hand at Lego. Lego was definitely one of the biggest parts of my childhood. Many of my happiest memories from that time come from rushing home and shutting myself in my room with my newest set, or spending hours building and playing with my collection. Sadly, as I got older I felt I had outgrown Lego and gave up the entirety of my collection. Last summer, as a 20th birthday present to myself, I bought the 4504 Millennium Falcon. It was my first set in probably 10 years, and the joy I felt putting it together took me right back to those carefree childhood memories. In the last couple weeks I've been fortunate enough to start a new job that not only do I very much enjoy, but which also furnishes me with more supplemental income. Thanks to this, I've wanted to finally start collecting Lego sets again. I plan to collect mostly classic sets from pre-2000. I find the older sets to be a lot more charming and creative. My theme interests are pirates, western, castles, adventurers, Star Wars, and town. I've begun my new collection humbly with the small Pirates 6246 "Crocodile Cage" set and Adventurers 5925 "Pontoon Plane," both of which I'm highly anticipating recieving soon in the mail. Outside of Lego, I enjoy reading and collecting antique and first edition books, playing video games, and watching movies. Thanks for reading, I'm looking forward to being here and sharing my newly-returned love for Lego with all of you!
