John Legomaster Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 After building te Stormtrooper something was missing so I tried to weatherd the model to get A more realistic look. Hope you like it, comments are always welcome. Quote
NathanR Posted September 14, 2017 Posted September 14, 2017 Wow, that is beautiful! I don't usually like it when bricks are altered, but the paint really brings it alive. To be honest, I didn't think it was Lego at all until I recognised the moulding on the boots! Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted September 15, 2017 Posted September 15, 2017 Yeah I agree I don't normally like to see Lego bricks painted like this... but it really works for this figure. Is it done using weathering chalk (charcoals or pastels)? The way I see it clean armored Stormtroopers are the types that serve in bases such as the Death Star, Star Destroyers, and patrol the streets of Core Worlds. The dirty troopers like this though would look at home on Tattoine or Wobani! Quote
LegoRacer1 Posted September 16, 2017 Posted September 16, 2017 (edited) Fantastic! I love miniature painting, and this is better than mine. Edited September 16, 2017 by LEGORACER1 Quote
John Legomaster Posted September 17, 2017 Author Posted September 17, 2017 Thanks guys, normally i would not paint my lego models but this model asked for it. The weathering is done with Tamiya paints and the model is out of the box. Quote
