TheLegoPerson9 Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 (edited) I haven't really been posting here, so here are some various cars I've built recently. All except for two were built with help from YouTube videos, which I will link to. Lamborghini Diablo. Source of building instructions: Lykan Hypersport. Source of building instructions: This is my attempt at modernized the Screaming Patriot set from 1991. Koenigsegg CCGT Source of building instructions: 1970 Chevy Monte Carlo Source of building instructions: This was originally an attempt to build the limo from Palace Cinema, but, that vehicle proved to be really awkward looking, so I had some fun with this. Digger of Bricks Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Dang, that Diablo is awesome! You've really nailed the wedge side profile perfectly! I've always insisted that if Lego were to do Lamborghini for the Speed Champions theme, they would have to create a new, steep six wide windshield part for its sets. But after seeing what you have done here, maybe that canopy part would work just fine! Quote

Thanks for the kind words, but, I can't take all the credit, as I did follow a building instructions video to build the Diablo, hence why I posted the video as well. I just blacked out mine and used my preferred wheels and tires for 6-wide cars. As for an official Speed Champions Lamborghini, they would probably have to make new pieces anyway due to all the angles and wedges Lamborghini cars have, unless they can figure out a way to do it with existing parts while keeping it durable.
