JDL1967 Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I am currently building the cranetruck from Lucio Switch. I came to the part that i had to test the pneumatics. Did it, and everything workt. But the battery's became very, very hot ( i used a box with 6 battery's for the test ) is this normal? Or are there to mutch PF parts in one box? Hope someone knows the answer to resolve this.. Quote
Bostons Brick Closet Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I am not an expert, but if I draw too much power from one battery box it shuts off, mine never overheats, Did you try a different box, maybe that ones protection circuit is broken? Quote
GroundskeeperWillie Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 (edited) If only they would ship a battery box with the sets from time to time so we wouldn't run out of them. Oh, wait... Edited August 1, 2017 by GroundskeeperWillie Quote
Saberwing40k Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I'd say you might have a bad battery, or a short somewhere in the box. Take out all the batteries and test them. You can also try to test the suspect battery box with other setups. If all else fails, I'm sure you can cram another battery box on the model, and split some of the load. Quote

Split the load, as there are now 10 pf motors on one box.. Quote
