BoBKiD Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 (edited) [GBW] The Repair Having recovered the lost drone, the Plantasea forces need to repair it if they want to use it in the war... and even modify it in the process! Fun fact: This is the 1stof a 3-part MOC storyline. The 2nd part involves the use of the UAV to pinpoint targets for the artillery (3rd). Edited July 26, 2017 by BoBKiD Added comic strip Quote
sigpro Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 The overall impression of the workshop is good, with interesting details and activity. I miss some explanations of what the minifigs do, how they interact, but this is a very very very personal opinion. Quote

At first I wanted to do exactly what you said, to make the minifigs actually do something but the major problem I had was the UAV (drone) itself: If it was to become interactive, I'd have to add detail to it and it's size would almost double! This wasn't looking good, so I had to drop that plan and stick to the current one: Two supervisors in the small room discussing the plan. The Chief Engineer (blue hat) and a regular engineer (red hat) talking about the time schedule. Two more engineers (red hats) talking about the quality of the spare parts. The Great Brick War Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 You've Been Awarded ( 3) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): This one was nice. It had a very simple approach but you kept it VERY clean. Some times not going overboard on detail goes a long way. The only thing I was a little skeptical about was how similar this looked to another player's prior build. Great Job. Good, basic build. I guess if anything, I would expect more details in the workshop, but overall, solid. I thought your pictures were very strong...darkness where there needed to be darkness, blurred backgrounds, and everything else well lit! A fine build with a good presentation, but nothing really stood out as unique or overly impressive. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing! Quote
