Building Technique Advice Needed- Grass Plains

Hello All,

I'm working on a large project right now and I'm in the process of picking up all of the colors and parts I think I'm going to need. 

I am building a MOC that is going to be happening in a grassy plain, rolling hills, and a few occasional rocky out croppings and small elevations. Color wise, it will be winter-ish so more Tan and Dark Tan blended into greens instead of just a straight green approach. 

Looking for pictures of similar types of builds or good techniques for these environments. I want to have blends of color and some good detail throughout (IE not just some tan plates on a base plate). Thanks Guys!
