Micro Shipyard

Just claiming my medium license from the challenge with a micro shipyard!

I was going to try out the 7 pieces challenge, but then I got the idea of a micro shipyard and, well, that'd be pretty tough to do in 7 pieces.

I like your piece choices for the ship under construction, and the micro slip itself is pretty cool! Neat basing for the build, too.

Ah, we're going micro again

I like the house (roof!) and the crane - but I do not understand the horns?  What is the ship doing with those horns?  Are they oars?

Thank you Captain!  Well, the horns are supposed to be the ribs of the ship - she's still under construction here!

Amazing job to do so much with so little! It was a very surprising Micro you made here :)

This is by far the most beautiful mini creation I have ever seen  can you teach me how to build the little house? It looks hard to build looking at it.

Thanks Maxim!  What I love about micros is that you can put some thought into every single piece... hard to do with larger creations!

Thank you!  Actually, it's just 4 1x1 tiles stuck sideways onto a base.  Then a couple of 2x1 cheese slopes on top.  They aren't attached though, so they fall down pretty easily.

Lovely shipyard, Kai! A few more ribs would do the ship honour, but I don't really see how to achieve that on this scale (what you have is really impressive!) Nice slipway, and great looking crane too! I particularly like the use of the brown "flower piece" in the bottom to represent a turntable!

Thanks Bregir!  Yes, more ribs would be great, but I couldn't see a way to stick them on either.
