Darth Hammy Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Hi, Anyone know where to generate or rearrange ldd instructions? Not the ones ldd provide, they are impossible to follow. P. S. WEBSITES ARE FINE. Quote
mocbuild101 Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 You might want to check out this topic: Otherwise you could convert the LDD file to LDraw - which could then be made into instructions with LPub3D. Quote
supertruper1988 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 I second BluePrint. You can see a selection of instructions I have made here on my ReBrickable page. Quote
Calabar Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Otherwise you can try to improve the instructions generated by LDD using groups. You can find a link to the explanation in the Section Index (one of the two pinned topics in this section). Probably it is not the best solution, but it don't require any external tool. Quote

IstakaCiti Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 You can convert to ldraw with these steps: In LDD go to file -> export In the export box set save as type to Ldraw-file. See the screenshot. However, based on my personal experience if you have already done a model in LDD using blueprint is easier. Because for LPub3d as well you need to first arrange the parts in different steps manually. Unfortunately there is no easy way to create instructions unless you build the model that way in any of the ldraw tools (e.g. LDCad, MLcad or stud.io. Quote

You would have got the info already but just to complete the info. This is the main thread, fortunately we have a developer himself on EB to help us out :) Quote
