Okay, move over SirNadroj, theres a new person addicted to mocs in town X-D

I built this fella this morning over two hours, and I really like him. He's half based off those old, boxy walking robot toys. Without further ado, my latest (hopefully best) mech, the Boxy Red Robot:

This is also my first mech built with the bricks facing forward, like other mechs:

He has a fair amount of posability, but i limited it so he would appear more 50's robot style with clunky movements:

And the back is a cargo bay!

Greyman's hands don't match the rest of his body. :-P Cool mech, I love the retro (?) look of it, and the fact that the torso is a giant storage container! :-D Very cool! *y*

Really nice :-) It remainds me of the first robot movies I saw as a child (except SW robots, of course ;-) ).

The big pinchers and the huge box/torso are great *wub*

You're exploring the mech world in directions I never took. Keep it up, Batbrick *y*

A very stylish robot indeed, simply yet surprisingly detailed in its clean and classic way. *y*

I just wonder a little about his feet, because it looks like he

Frankly I think you should try to stem away from boxiness - it just shows that maybe you are unsure of how to get proper curves or use other techniques to get other results? *wacko* It looks abit retro, but the boxiness in mocs just does not work for me atall. *sad*

Very nice! The back-opening feature reminds me of the Mr. Potato Head figures....... :-P ;-)

Thanks, now that you say that.....

You didn't happen to be inspired by earthbound zero/MOTHER, did you? *wub* Either way, I love the MOC.

No, but it was something similar. Thanks too.

Thanks LuxorV, I really appreciate your comments, coming from a master mech builder. It is inspired by those old robots too. Thankyou for your comments about exploring, I'm trying to do different things :'-)
