offroadcreations Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 I saw this on Rebrickable, and I like it. All 3 of the parts of this model are very cool! Great job! Quote
Bostons Brick Closet Posted July 10, 2017 Posted July 10, 2017 Cool, Great Build... I have great respect for you designing everything in LDD... 3D modeling takes forever ( : Quote
Oliver 79 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Cool builds! They look very good. My only personal gripe is the monster truck. It leans forward too much for my liking. I would move the cab back a few studs and lengthen the hood. Can I ask why you decided to use two servo motors on the monster truck? All in all, a very nice project! Quote
spongebrickpl Posted July 13, 2017 Author Posted July 13, 2017 I decided to use 2 servo motors because it was easier to make it both axle steering. For example 9398 has just 1 SERVO but there are 2 L motors for each axle. I wanted to make driving system stable and I think it is better with one motor for driving and 2 for steering. Also If You have two IR receivers and two remotes You can control each axle separately. About the monster truck cab- I like that "long tail" style and I wouldn't change it:) Quote
AFOLegofan66 Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 like the whole project especially the trailer. It works really well...great job!! Quote
BusterHaus Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 The trailer is awesome. The battery box is really well hidden, the functions work great and it's a nice mix of studded and studless. Quote

I like the idea of controlling axles separately. Switching from 4 wheel, to crab, to 2 wheel steering in an instant! As for the style. Well, if everyone liked the same thing. Life would be pretty boring! Quote
Jeroen Ottens Posted July 13, 2017 Posted July 13, 2017 (edited) Great models. Something for the scale modeling subforum? Edited July 13, 2017 by Jeroen Ottens Quote
