Doctor Sinister Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Well, this is just a little thingy I knocked up - actually, it's 5 pages long, but I hope you enjoy it. It's a WW2 picture story, featuring Brickarms Troops and Weapons. Please let me know what you think - I really hope you enjoy it. AMBUSH! Dr. S. Quote
Commander Andrew of 501 st Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 great job i really like it keep 'em coming :'-) Quote
Batbrick Posted February 7, 2008 Posted February 7, 2008 Much better than I thought it would be Dr.S, and I really like your stuff too. The set is very nice, as are the brickarms characters. The story itself is the best bit though, I love how it is told from the view of the germans. You've done an excellent job giving these characters very real personalities, allowing us to feel sympathy and hate to them. The ending is great too, I like it left open like that. Spectacular job overall, do you plan on more? Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Not sure how to take the first part of your first sentence though. :-D :-D :-D Yeah, I tried to give the Germans character - in war films they are just cannon fodder, but they are people too, fighting for their country, and a lot of the Army hated the SS as much as the Allies did. As for more - not sure. Dr. S. Quote
Batbrick Posted February 8, 2008 Posted February 8, 2008 Thanks. Not sure how to take the first part of your first sentence though. :-D :-D :-D Yeah I worded that awfully :-D I merely meant that it was above my expectations, which are already quite high seeing the quality of the stuff you do. However, this also means you'll have to try and never disappoint me X-D I agree with you on your comments about Germans too, SS scum were the real enemy, but many germans were just fighting for their country like any man would. Though I have no idea where everyone gets these awesome fleshie heads from, I want some! Batbrick Away! >:-) Quote

Now I'm sweating. :-D As for the heads - let me see - there's an Indiana Jones head there, his dad, Han Solo, Anakin Skywalker (little Annie), two of them are from Imperial Officers as found in a SW set (I changed them to Yellows to go with the rest of the Officers in the detachment) and the others came with the Brickarms troops. I've kind of exhausted my fleshie supply though. Dr. S. Quote
