jansued Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 After the Secretary General of BoN requested Internatinon Assistance for the Floodings in Studica, Armed Forces and Civil Defense Units from all kind of organisations were formed together to the Flood Rescue Task Force consisting of 10 medium LCAC from the CoST Marines Corps with additional Personal from the Coast Guard (Light power boats), Fire Service Specialists for Swift Water Rescue, a Medical Team from an Forward Operating Base and even civilian divers which offered the help. Due to the high winds, our helicopters NH90 C couldn't start, so the rescue effort would be mainly done through the LCAC.P7050076 by Jan Südmersen, auf Flickr With the Swiftwater team in standby, the powerboat left the LCAC and went for the rescue of an old lady and her nephew from a flooded home.P7050077 by Jan Südmersen, auf Flickr Not only the humans were rescued, in this case we had to save also several dogs and pets.P7050072 by Jan Südmersen, auf Flickr To avoid unnecessary conflicts, we reached an agreement with COAC-Members that in this case military verhicle could operate in COAC member states. Spud The Viking Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 I really like how you've shown the height of the water. The vehicles are superb and you supplied a great story, well done! Quote
paintballman Posted July 8, 2017 Posted July 8, 2017 Very nice build. I like how the muddy water runs arount the traffic lights Quote
Tiddlymouthwash Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Very noice build!, The hovercraft is clean and slick, possibly a bit more water detail some more branches and twigs would really flesh it out but overall an amazing build! Quote
The Great Brick War Posted July 14, 2017 Posted July 14, 2017 You've Been Awarded (1) Point(s): Judges Comments (not all judges comment): Very Nice. Originally I though this was just a tiny build sitting on a baseplate, then I noticed it was a whole bunch of plates. The landing craft is very well detailed and looks very practically designed. Given all of that your score suffered due to the house being a creator set. One of our huge rules is that your build must be all original. You were not fully disqualified due to the landing craft being the focus of the build and the fact that this was a FRAGO with only limited time to build. That being said, be mindful of this in the future. I love this build! The simplicity of it and how it is right on point with what you are trying to convey. The LCAC is spectacular, a rescue team, the muddy water has risen up over the first floor of the house, water rushing past the traffic signals, trees...and a floating soccer ball! You did utilize an existing LEGO set, #31012 though for the house, and we kind of didn't want that as it was put in the rules. Due to it being a FRAGO, you weren't disqualified, but your points were heavily reduced. Please be aware for future builds, thanks. You can Update your AAR Post with your points to keep track. Thanks for Playing! Quote
jansued Posted July 15, 2017 Author Posted July 15, 2017 Well, 1 Point is better than nothing. Forgot to tell about the house, sorry. Quote
