Henchmen4Hire Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 (edited) Great shape, though I think it could use maybe 2 small wedge plates (or even a normal 1x? plate) in the middle-front under the glass, to help reduce the drastic drop-off there, as well as fill the gaps under the 3x3 wedge plates. Coincidence, I downloaded Blade Runner last week, been meaning to see it for the first time too, looking forward to seeing these cars :) Edited June 4, 2017 by Henchmen4Hire Quote

-zenn Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 (edited) @Kevin Yoo "I couldn’t think of a way to fill that gap in the lights" An idea, starting from the leftside you have build it like this; plate + round brick + round brick. You could try; round plate + round brick and do the same for the opposite side. Or in a similar manner; round brick + round plate do the same for the opposite side. That way you might get rid off that tiny little gap, if it will fit though, don't know if there's enough room. You could also put a technic pin inside that round brick and a round tile on top of that... But you will see the pin though. Edited June 15, 2017 by -zenn Quote

-zenn Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 4 hours ago, Kevin Yoo said: I’m not exactly sure if I got what you said, I may be wrong but I’ve tried your first three ideas but there isn’t enough room to fit in an extra round brick. If I force the round brick in it causes stress for the bricks. As for the fourth technic idea, I’ve also thought of a variation where you use a pin with stud but as I consider putting technic pins in bricks an illegal connection I’ve avoided using it. But thank you for your suggestions , please correct me if I’m wrong. After looking closer at the pic's I don't think my idea will fit, but the gap is still bugging me. Spoiler I'm pretty used to mod my bricks or use illegal connections... Although I'm trying not to, at least in my last couple of builds I haven't cut anything. Maybe just one of those headlight plates in the middle? And add an extra light on the plate part or something... Quote
Kelkschiz Posted June 17, 2017 Posted June 17, 2017 Very pleasing shapes, function, dimensions/scale and level of detail. Something like this would also make a good LEGO set. Good job! Quote
