Duncan Young Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 Yesterday, I made my first ever painted figure. This figure is based off of the undead Solomon Grundy, nenemis to the Justice League and a member of various super villain societies The base is the 2014 Hulk which was coated in dark grey paint. I painted his trouser black and his hair bright grey. The paint on his was applied using a tooth pick. The gauntlets on his wrists are made from tyres turned inside out and coated in a mix of orange and grey paints. I'm quite pleased with the result but would like to know what other people think Quote
Felkin Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Wow, that looks amazing! The gauntlets are a nice touch. I don't know if it's based on any particular version of Solomon (I mostly remember him from Justice League Unlimited), but he looks very recognisable! I think maybe the skin should have been a lighter shade of gray, but the hair and face are very well done! Quote
