Hello everyone, :classic:

Been a while since I posted here however I'm back with just a fairly small MOC this time, A Working H-24 Engine. Been meaning to post this for a while but only just got around to doing it, Not much to say about it really, It's a fairly simple design for a H-24 24 cylinder engine. For the most part it was inspired by the Napier Sabre engine although it's not a complete model of it as you can see, Just the actual core mechanical part, A generic H-24 engine I suppose. I have plans to put this into a MOC I'm planning on making at some point, Maybe when I finish the current one I'm working on. Anyway, on with the pictures:

A video of it being directly powered by a PF M motor:

Finally I also made this in LDD so I would know how to rebuild it in the future:

The .io file can be downloaded from Bricksafe if you want to see hows it's put together or anything:

Thanks for looking and hope you liked it. :classic:

Putting this in Hawker Tempest model would be cool!

Simple but efficient, nice job!

Yep thats the plan, Either a Tempest or a Typhoon, Haven't one hundred percent decided which yet. Thanks mate. :classic:

Very cool, need to put this on the 8457 Power puller, or 2 of them:grin:

Thanks mate, Yeah I would be very tempted to if I had that set, Unfortunately I don't, Perhaps I'll have to make my own with the Engine at some point.

I have never built airplanes as Technic models, but to make Hawker Tempest, Typhoon  or even Napier-Heston Racer is what I would suggest

Way cool! Simple but complex at the same time. I will download the lxf file and look at it when I get to my computer.

I am very curious to see the gearing used to connect the 2 flat 12 cylinder engines to make I function as a H-24 cylinder. Looks very inrteresting.

Thanks,

Andy D

Great start. Maybe this could inspire some ideas. I would love to see another Typhoon or Tempest.

Thanks mate, Yeah I remember seeing your Typhoon and Spitfire before I built my Spitfire, Seeing your amazing models certainly helped when I was building my spitfire. :classic:

This will end as a chalenging but at the same time great project, so keep with good work.

Btw engine is on one hand simple and on the other creative, so it is a great kompromise like LEGO should always be.
