Fatu Hiva has a native population that are very proficient seafarers.  A significant portion of their economy is fishing.  Their small proa vessels do a great job of traversing the sea.

Being such a small vessel, and seeing how I have two sails, I made two identical vessels. :grin:

Another neat build, Phred, great little vessels (I especially like the use of the bar pieces there!), and the cooking fish are great as well!  Keep it up! :pir-classic:

The Islanders! Yet another theme I've missed, I stopped playing lego when they came on the shelf in 93? If my memory is correct.:wacko:

I like the connecting bars on the small boats, it made the build less bulky. The cooking shed is nice too, reminds me of a pirate I used to have, this said I recall having seen my son play with the leafs of that set yesterday.
