After declaring war on Briolui, Refnor started to move troops to the border between itself and it's new adversary. Trenches were being dug into the green pastures and hillsides, and troops were already wheeling in howitzers and carrying in crates of rifles, ready at any moment for an attack....

That's a pretty neat trench you've dug there. The sloped plates work well along the front of the trench, and I like the mild vegetation you added. Perhaps some tree stumps in front of the trench would be appropriate (cutting down trees to ensure there is nothing for the enemy to hide behind), but overall you did a really nice job. The artillery piece is good, too. The pieces are fairly basic, but they sure work well together.

I like the small details around as the laptop for the digital calculation for the elevation of the canon. Just move the laptop to the right as the hot raspings coming out of the barrel will destroy it

I always admire when people try to use plates diagonally versus trying to use slope pieces to change elevation. Your landscaping is not too bad, I would have maybe done something to break up the overall square look of everything by maybe throwing in some small plates. Another idea would be to maybe use some plates or slope pieces on the inside edges of the trench as they are never perfectly square. With guys constantly climbing in and out of them, they tend to round out real quick. Pictures aren't too bad, I would suggest working on your lighting and maybe a little photo editing to crop and adjust color. Otherwise, great job.

Alrighty, great start!  You show your side digging in to prepare for the fight.  You clearly show geography and equipment, but you did leave out the map grid.  You have your soldiers in a trench along with a howitzer, ready to do some fighting.  A few suggestions if I may...solid color background is good, but try to not show a break between materials; use a sheet.  Make sure you have plentry of light when taking your pics and be sure not to block that light.  Pics using outside light look incredible.  Feel free to build up that terrain using plates.  Don't try to hide the flat plates below flora, it stands out; add some different colors of plates as well so it resembles all of the dirt that was dug up for the trench.  I look forward to your future builds, keep it up!
