Journal entry 1, 4/16/17

As a young child every Swintocian wants to join the military, everyone has a different reason, some see it as a way to escape the factories, others as a way to make there name known, but in the end no matter your reason, you are all united under one banner. With growing civil unrest in countries abroad the Swintoc government has been fast tracking recruits through boot camp, and sticking them in the tunnels, where there are given an option, dig your way out, or return to your home branded a coward.

A few lucky recruits (usually from a higher class) are given actual weapons and spend there days marching through the jungle, dodging snakes, and eventually bullets.

And finally there is the officers, who will swear up and down that utvs are for the defense of the unit.

The paths these new units are trailblazing are hoped to give an advantage to the infrastructure of Swintoc in the future, although environmentalists have voiced there concerns(then mysteriously disappeared) the leaders of Swintoc will continue to create roads over and under the jungle.

Swintoc might not be the best place in the world, but it is our home, and we are willing to defend it to the last man, if you ever come near the Swintoc border you might be lucky enough (or unlucky) to hear a unit singing as they merrily defend there home.

C&C welcome (sorry about the grainy photos, I still need to get a new camera.)

That's a great first build that really ties in with your country's description. It's neat that you were able to incorporate the tunnels into the build. The vegetation is good and has enough variations to avoid looking overly uniform. I also wouldn't mind seeing some pictures of the UTV.

I would recommend fixing the posing of the marching soldiers. Right now it looks like they're all leaning back about ready to fall.

Great First build. The fact that you incorporated the tunneling aspect in under the road was nice. The cascading plats coming out of the tunnel looks cool but could be a little misleading. Things I would work on: The vehicle looks like a good start but maybe it needs to be a little more rugged and proportionately built. I'd recommend looking into some real world military off road vehicles and look at their dimensions. Also, there doesnt appear to be any rhyme or reason to how the vegetation is laid out up on the surface. Might look better to maybe clean that up a bit. Good Job!

Supporting the campaign by recruiting, yes?  I see geography and equipment, but no map grid.  Be sure to hit all of the requirements when building your tasked challenges...as they may affect scores in the future.  Solid start here, you have multiple levels, just beware when photographing the lower darker levels, it can be tricky to light them up.  You built your own multi-purpose jeep type vehicle, cool!  Be sure to show that as well.  The solid 1 color background was a good choice, and you have lots of terrain changes along with plantlife.  I look forward to seeing your future builds!
