Joker Lowrider problems

Hi

I just bought this set but I am having problems trying to get the missiles to shoot out.

When I press both rods in, the catch does not seem to work....does anyone have similar problems?

I would contact LEGO about it, you may have faulty spring loaded shooter bricks.
