kjm161 Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 (edited) Celebrating Canada's 150th Birthday in miniature. This is based on the centre section of Kingston City Hall in Ontario, Canada (I have added a photo of the entire building). The City Hall, built in 1844, once served as the Capitol for the province of Ontario and is a Canadian National Historic site. For random part usage, the round sections above the clocks and above the entrance are the tails of Daisy and Donald Duck. image by Karen Metz, on Flickr KTown City Hall Mini by Karen Metz, on Flickr KTown City Hall Mini by Karen Metz, on Flickr Kingston City Hall Mini by Karen Metz, on Flickr Kingston City Hall Mini by Karen Metz, on Flickr KTown City Hall Mini by Karen Metz, on Flickr Edited March 20, 2017 by kjm161 Quote
pinioncorp Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Clever use of the birdcage and the duck tails! Would love to see it finished with the adjoining wings, architecture set style. Quote
kjm161 Posted March 20, 2017 Author Posted March 20, 2017 Thanks for the motivation. I originally followed the size of the Rebrick Mini Modular contest, which limited me to only do the centre portion of the building. I have completed Kingston City Hall in architecture set style. Below are some more photos of the finished model. I have also included a photo of the real Kingston City Hall for comparison 6 hours ago, pinioncorp said: Clever use of the birdcage and the duck tails!
