Hello all!

I am looking to get more involved here on EB and in the AFOL community in general, but have run into a roadblock...

From what I can tell, there are three popular sites for hosting images of MOCs; Flickr, Brickshelf, and MOCPages. Flickr seems to be the leader of the pack, but I find the site itself pretty obtuse and hard to navigate. Brickshelf won't send me a password recovery email, and MOCPages seems to be just outright broken (and only offers this somewhat condescending and definitely unhelpful "help" page).

So I'm stuck! Should I bite the bullet and just learn to like Flickr? What makes it the primary hosting site for AFOLs, especially you folks? Would hosting them myself be worth the effort? I'd be interested to hear about different experience people have had with these sites.

Bricksafe is modern and the easiest thing ever to use! Brickshelf and MOCpages are old, and flickr is nice for the comments and such, but for just straight up hosting go with Bricksafe. (I use flickr and Bricksafe)

I'd just learn how to use flickr. It's not to hard once you've figured it out. I can upload photos directly from my phone which is great. Power through it, is my advice.

Straight up hosting is exactly what I'm looking for, and Bricksafe seems to be just perfect! It's like Brickshelf but nice and new!

I'll probably get around to Flickr eventually, but for now I think Bricksafe covers everything I need.

Thank you both for the help!

I am not really a fan of Flickr and stopped using it years ago. I was never really happy with it.  And since it is owned by Yahoo, who knows how long it will exist anyway!  There are a couple of other options around I saw people using, like Imgur or Tumblr - and Google Photos. I think all of them are free; at least the latter two are for sure. So... there are options :classic:
